FAQ: Cardigans for big and small children

Especially with clothes for babies and children, it is advisable to avoid chemical detergents and fabric softeners. This not only protects your child's skin from allergic reactions, but also protects the fibres and above all the environment. Good old biodegradable and environmentally friendly bile soap helps with most stains. You can buy it in a bar or as a liquid soap. For wool, we recommend wetting the stain with a little water and dabbing with the liquid side. We do not recommend rubbing it in, as you will destroy the structure of the wool. Leave the soap to work for about half an hour and then wash the garment as usual with a sensitive wool detergent! If you still have questions about textile care, follow us here. For children, the body size also corresponds to the clothing size. This means that if your child is 140 cm tall, this corresponds to size 146. When buying a jacket, we recommend that you also look at the chest circumference. You can find a lot of useful information about children's sizes here, where our team has put together a help table for you.

Please follow the manufacturer's instructions on the laundry label. We recommend that you always turn garments inside out and close all zips. You should also avoid using fabric softener as it can cause skin irritation and prevent possible allergic reactions. For children's clothes, use a detergent that is labelled "sensitive". Another recommendation is to use a sensitive hygiene rinse, especially if the clothes can only be washed at 40° Celsius. Hygiene rinse agents remove 99% of the bacteria even at very low temperatures.
