Ironing baby and children's clothes, yes or no?

The dots indicate the temperature ranges of the irons (regulator, steam, travel irons as well as ironing machines). For the irons in use, these setting ranges are sometimes also assigned to certain raw materials.

Do not iron

Disruptive changes that can no longer be corrected are to be expected.

Do not hot iron

Maximum temperature of the iron soleplate of 110 °C. Also corresponds to the iron temperature level "polyacrylic/polyamide (nylon)/acetate". If necessary, iron glossy or pressure-sensitive items with a dry intermediate cloth or on the reverse side. Do not iron with steam. Do not warp.

Iron moderately hot

Moderate hot ironingMaximum iron soleplate temperature of 150 °C. Also corresponds to the iron temperature level "Wool/Silk/Polyester/Viscose". Iron under a moderately damp intermediate cloth. Steam iron can be used. Avoid heavy pressing. Do not distort.

Hot ironing

Maximum temperature of the iron soleplate of 200 °C. Also corresponds to the iron temperature level "cotton/linen". Treat iron damp, moisten if necessary. Iron shiny or pressure-sensitive pieces with an intermediate cloth or on the reverse side. Steam iron can be used.
