Frequently asked questions about sizes for children

To find out your child's size, please measure your child's height. The size in centimetres corresponds to the dress size (see table above). Alternatively, you can look in your child's wardrobe to find out the current size. Children's sizes jump in "6" steps up to size 176, so if, for example, size 116 is already too tight, you should order size 122. Even if the style is still a little too big, your child will grow into it quickly.

Just as you prefer to wear comfortable clothes, so does your child. Pinching and too tight is certainly not to anyone's liking. So order the trousers one size bigger than one size too small. With jeans, you should also pay attention to the cut. We recommend a more relaxed cut, such as regular fit, baggy fit or mom fit. For more information on trouser / jeans sizes and cuts, please see the help pages for each gender.

We would only recommend a size smaller if your child is not only narrower, but actually smaller. For children's sizes, you should pay attention to the lengths and the circumference. When it comes to trousers or jeans, please pay attention not only to the size but also to the cut. For slim children, there are cuts such as skinny fit, X-slim fit or slim fit. Please never forget that your son or daughter has to feel comfortable. For more information on trouser/jeans sizes and cuts, please see the help pages according to gender.

Since children grow very quickly and should always have enough space when playing and romping, it is advisable to choose one size larger. Also in the interest of environmental protection, we recommend that you avoid returns as much as possible. In this case, it is advisable to order two different sizes and return the one that does not fit.

Of course you can! You can even return your order to us without giving a reason. However, we would be happy if you let us know that the item is too big. If the item is often returned for this reason, we can inform other customers and thus avoid pointless returns. You can find more information about returns here.
