FAQ: Transition jackets for children

We recommend closing the zip and/or Velcro fastener before washing, then turn the jacket inside out. Use a delicate or wool wash programme with a maximum temperature of 30°C and a gentle spin cycle with a maximum of 400 revolutions. Use a sensitive detergent. An additional rinse cycle won't hurt either, to make sure that all detergent residues are washed out. You should avoid using fabric softener altogether, as this not only protects the fibres and the environment, but also your child's health. Alternatively, use a hygienic rinse aid, which removes bacteria even at low temperatures. You can find out more about textile care for children's clothing here.

At this time of year, it's often a bit cooler in the morning but still warm in the afternoon, so it's a good idea to combine a stylish denim jacket with a trendy hoddie underneath. Your child can then choose one of the two jackets in the afternoon. On rainy days, you can also combine a light rain jacket with a hoddie.

If not him, who else 😊. The parka is an all-rounder and can be worn in autumn and winter. The inner lining and also the fur of the hood are removable and can be put back in during the winter months.

We always recommend ordering the jacket one size larger, because your child should also be able to wear a jumper under the jacket and feel comfortable. If your child is already a little older, you should include him or her in the selection process. This way you can be sure that your child will like the jacket.
